The first thing I would recommend is a reservation. It took us over an hour to be seated. However, with that being said and in their defense, it was a Friday night, the interstate was closed with a bunch of semis backed up, and there is a truck stop right across the street. The food isn't necessarily bad but just okay. It is your average Tex-Mex, but they don't offer a lot of menu options for diet restrictions. Everything is pretty salty. I haven't ever really had a problem with the customer service-it has always been pretty good. Good margaritas though!

Food was great. Price was also. I ordered the burrito supreme. Lots of beef, not full of fat. My only complaint was the shredded lettuce over the top of the sauce, but that is my personal pet peeve. I just scraped it all off. Flavor was excellent. Coming from the West coast, it's not always easy to find decent Mexican food in the inner states. Husband had the chimichanga and said it was delicious as well. Service was great, but it was not very busy.

Customer service needs improvement. I sat down, and was so disappointed with the customer service that I didn't get anything to eat. Felt like I wasn't wanted their. Staff needs to learn more about courtesy and customer service. Will never go in their again.

A surprising stop just off of I-80. Huge menu with interesting items, like fry bread tacos. Both the wife and I were surprised at the quality and deliciousness of everything we ordered. Totally worth the stop, and way better than your average franchise just off the interstate!

The tostada on the menu was 8.49$ so I asked the waitress if they had an ala cart tostada that was less expensive. She must have misunderstood me because when I got my ticket they charged me 8.49$. Which is not what I was expecting to pay! However, I did speak to the manager and he was able to fix the situation. I was impressed with the customer service by wait staff and manager, not at all impressed with the food. Over priced canned beans....

Ate here once. Sounded like a good SW place to eat. It was Bad enough to remember why we won't be back. The customer service wasn't good either.

Wish I read the reviews first. Would not have gone there. They do not know mexican food at all.

HORRIBLE!!! I am quite certain that every single piece of food in the dishes we ordered came from cans or jars. I had a soft chicken taco, the chicken was most definitely out of a can and had absolutely no sauce or flavor whatsoever. My girlfriend's tostada had canned gravy, like chicken gravy or something; also, her margarita was pure syrup. Even my corona, the limes were bone dry and tiny. The hostess also was sitting with her friends and was not readily available to take our payment. Very unprofessional staffing all around, completely worthless food. No redeeming qualities at all. I just graduated and had to eat horrible cafeteria food every day and I would much rather eat that junk than whatever it was I ate here. Yuck.

Stick with the margaritas, salsa and sopapillas so you won't be disappointed! Service was friendly.

Avoidance is the best thing to order. Avoid wilted lettuce Avoid ill-cut microwaved steak! Avoid frozen (at best!) crinkle-cut carrots. New York City may be made fun of for salsa here out west, but...no restaurant in NYC could get by with this. Take the other review to heart (but I didn't hate the margerita as much as he did.

I was in town for travel and found this place online. I was very happy with my choice. The parking lot faked me out a little bit as it is next to a hotel and the entrance I thought would be the front turned out to be the back, so I had to walk around the building to get in. That wasn't a biggie, just surprised me. The food was good and the staff were efficient. I'm not sure about friendly, but they handled everything very well. I ordered a bison steak and it along with everything else was made well. When I head back to town, this will remain on the list of places for dinner.

I liked the many options on the menu. It's pretty diverse. I ordered the chicken fajitas but they didn't taste like fajitas. They were bland almost like the chicken was boiled first. I liked their salsa though. May go back for a second chance.

This is a very average Mexican restaurant. The atmosphere, service, food, & prices were good. If you are looking for descent Mexican food, I recommend this place.

Average mexican restaurant. Food is OK, but don't order the fajita if you expect them to be sizzling hot when they bring it out...and $2 margarita's from 6-8pm!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
